About Flight Price Alerts

What we do

Flight Price Alerts watches flight prices from Canadian airports and shows the lowest fare we find for each route, for trips leaving between 7 days and 3 months from now. When a fare is well below the usual price for its route, we flag it as a deal and, if you have signed up, email you about it.

Where our prices come from

Our prices come from recent traveller searches on Aviasales, a flight search engine. They are not live airline inventory, so a price can change or sell out before you book. That is why every card says "See live price": you confirm the current fare on Aviasales, and you can compare it on Google Flights.

How we check deals

• A new deal stays private until a person has compared it with live results. Approved deals show a "Verified" label with the date.
• Airline seat sales and promo codes are added by hand from the airlines' own websites. We write our own summaries and link to the airline for the details and conditions.
• "Usual price" means the typical lowest fare we have recorded for that route and month over previous days, so labels such as Hot Deal or Bumper Saving get more reliable as our history grows.

How we make money

Flight Price Alerts is free to use. When you click "See live price" and then book, the travel company may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not change which fares we show or how we label deals.

Independence

We are not an airline or a travel agency, we do not sell tickets, and we are not affiliated with any airline, Google or Aviasales. Their names belong to their owners.

Who runs it
